Graduate degree by coursework
This is great for students who may wish to study off-campus, as you’ll get the flexibility to study full-time, part-time, online, through distance learning or after business hours. Courses include:
- Graduate certificates (4 units) and diplomas (8 units)
- Postgraduate certificates and diplomas
- Masters by coursework (12 units)
- Masters by a combination of research and coursework
Entry-level requirements for graduate courses
Graduate degree by research
This is an advanced academic program where students focus on independent, original investigation under expert supervision rather than completing regular coursework. Students will use their research to write a thesis that makes a positive impact on knowledge in your chosen field. The University offers a large range of higher research degrees, including:
- PhD
- Professional doctorate
- Master of Philosophy
- Masters by research
- Masters by research and coursework

Study flexibility: Online and distance (off-campus)
Many of our students choose online and distance education (off-campus) courses so they can study when and where they choose.
Off-campus learning is a flexible way to study. It includes a combination of print study material and electronic communication. You are not restricted to studying only off-campus. You can enrol in both on and off-campus units or change from one to another.
We offer more than 100 graduate courses off-campus.
