Marketing science combines marketing theory, consumer insight, market research, and data-informed decision-making to help organisations understand markets and solve business challenges. This major will develop your ability to analyse consumer and market data, evaluate marketing opportunities and formulate evidence-based marketing strategies that support broader organisational objectives. Through applied and theory-based learning, you will build capabilities in business statistics, market research design, consumer analysis, marketing analytics, and strategic market planning. You will also develop an understanding of the responsible use of digital metrics, analytics tools and emerging technologies in contemporary marketing practice. You will be prepared for a range of roles across industries, including marketing analyst, customer insights specialist, market research consultant, digital marketing analyst, and growth strategy consultant.
