The Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence and Bachelor of Commerce combines advanced AI capability with business, commercial and strategic expertise.
You'll choose between two AI specialisations: Applied Artificial Intelligence, which focuses on applying existing AI technologies to solve real-world challenges, or Artificial Intelligence Algorithms and Models, which explores the technical foundations of AI and how it's designed, developed and evolved.
Build strong foundations in programming and data alongside specialist Commerce studies, whether it’s actuarial studies, economics, finance or something else.
Graduate ready to identify where AI can create value and implement it responsibly across organisations.
Develop your AI expertise through embedded professional practice units engaging real organisations and further work-integrated learning opportunities including placements with top companies supported by an education grant.
Through Commerce, have the chance to undertake consulting projects, international experiences and internships – developing a portfolio that demonstrates your technical capability and commercial expertise.

Entry Requirements (Domestic students)
There are many ways to be considered for entry to a Monash University degree depending on your educational background and history. The below options reflect the academic requirements for the different applicant categories (or the highest level of education previously completed) to be considered for this Monash course. All applicants must satisfy equivalence of the VCE subject prerequisites or equivalent tertiary units including the English language requirements.

You may apply to transfer from another Monash course. Transfers are a competitive process. You may apply mid-year for available courses however consideration will be given as to whether you will be able to follow your course progression.
