The Arts Equity Travel Grant supports undergraduate Arts students to participate in global experiences where there is a travel cost incurred as part of their undergraduate degrees.

Life becomes more challenging when financial stress and academic workload pressure come together. The scholarship eased my financial burden, allowing me to focus more on my studies. With this support, I was also able to upgrade to more powerful devices, significantly improving the efficiency of my research and studies. The scholarship played a crucial role in helping me enjoy the university life and achieve the University Medal, one of the highest academic achievements at Monash.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen
- Australian permanent resident
- Australian humanitarian visa holder
You must meet the following criteria:
- Current student enrolled in a single or double (Faculty of Arts course is the partner) undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Arts at a Monash Campus in Australia.
- Participating in an overseas study program - excluding MON2100 Global Immersion Guarantee.
Benefits
- $3,000 one-off payment.
Number offered
- 20 scholarships available.
Selection criteria
- Awarded based on need.
- From one or more of Monash University’s defined equity or personal disadvantage groups.
- Awarded to an applicant who has not previously received or currently holding another travel scholarship.
- Preference will be given to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Global Studies (A2001)

- Current Monash students apply directly to Monash.
- This scholarship cannot be deferred.
