Industry Leaders Scholarship
The Bank First Indigenous Leaders Scholarship is generously supported by Bank First to provide financial support and encourage talented and deserving Indigenous Australian students studying in the Faculty of Education to benefit from the academic, personal and leadership opportunities offered by a Monash University education.

The Bank First Indigenous Leaders Scholarship means so much to me and has helped me significantly, as it's provided me with stability and utmost confidence heading into this year. The support has motivated me to follow my career goals and work to my fullest potential so that I can strive to help and make a positive influence on those around me. The impact it has had on me and the continuation of my course cannot be understated and I'm forever grateful for Bank First's generosity.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
You must meet the following criteria:
- Current student enrolled in an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Education at a Monash campus in Australia.
- WAM 80+ (Current students)
- Are an Indigenous Australian**
**To be eligible you must provide a Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate or a certified Statutory Declaration form to the William Cooper Institute. - $10,000 per annum for up to two years.

Selection criteria
- Awarded to Undergraduate continuing students demonstrating leadership and community engagement or participating in industry engagement opportunities.
To retain this scholarship:
- You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 each semester.

- This scholarship cannot be deferred.
