A scholarship provided by the Australian Government to assist Indigenous students with the costs of studying at university.

Monash Relocation Grant
Growing up in regional Queensland, my opportunities for attending university were limited due to my circumstances. The Achieving Potential Support Scholarship and Monash Relocation Grant has provided me financial assistance and support while I study at Monash. This relief for my family and I, has allowed me to focus on my studies and strive for excellence. Receiving this scholarship has been a transformative opportunity, enabling me to pursue a degree I once thought wouldn't be possible.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
- An Indigenous Australian
You must meet the following criteria:
- Commencing full-time in an undergraduate degree, Diploma of Tertiary Studies, Diploma of Higher Education, or Monash Enabling program at a Monash campus in Australia.
- Required to relocate from a regional or remote area for study
- Experiencing financial hardship.
- To be eligible you must provide a Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate or a certified Statutory Declaration form to the William Cooper Institute. - $6000 one-off payment.

Selection criteria
- Award based on need.
- Preference given to those who attend a Monash listed under-represented school.
To retain this scholarship:
- Must maintain full-time enrolment.
How to apply
- VTAC applicants - If you think you might be eligible for an equity scholarship, ensure that you apply for the VTAC equity schemes (SEAS) to be automatically considered.
- For current Monash students apply directly to Monash.
- This scholarship cannot be deferred.
- Cannot be held with any other accommodation scholarship.
- Students who have previously held the Commonwealth Accommodation scholarship are ineligible.
