The CSIRO Indigenous Scholarship in STEM and Medicine is generously supported by CSIRO to provide financial support and encourage Indigenous students to pursue studies in the field of STEM and Medicine.

Achieving Potential Indigenous Support Scholarship
The Achieving Potential Indigenous Support Scholarship has allowed me to focus on my studies without worrying about taking on more work or making educational sacrifices.
This scholarship has also strengthened my connection to the William Cooper Institute, which has almost become a second home. The other students are lovely, and the staff are super supportive and helpful.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
You must meet the following criteria:
- Commencing student intending to enrol in an undergraduate degree in STEMM (Engineering, Science, IT, FMNHS) at a Monash campus in Australia.
- ATAR 85+ for Indigenous.
- Are an Indigenous Australian**
**To be eligible you must provide a Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate or a certified Statutory Declaration form to the William Cooper Institute. Benefits
- $10,000 per annum (48 credit points of study) for the duration of your degree.

Selection criteria
- Awarded to the highest achieving commencing students.
To retain this scholarship:
- You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 each semester.
