The scholarship has been established to honour Elsa and Dante Cicuttini. The scholarship will provide financial assistance to disadvantaged students seeking to complete a Monash undergraduate Engineering degree.

Achieving Potential Support Scholarship
Moving interstate to study, the scholarship I received significantly reduced the financial stress I experienced in my first year and allowed me to focus on my studies. I've been able to have a better work-life balance and focus on my hobbies.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen
- Australian permanent resident
- Australian humanitarian visa holder
You must meet the following criteria:
- A current or commencing, full-time undergraduate student enrolling in one of the Engineering single or double degrees offered at a Monash University Australian campus.
- Experiencing financial hardship.
- From one or more of the following educational disadvantage groups:
- Are a recent refugee
- From a regional or remote area
- Living with a disability or medical condition
- From a non-English speaking background
- Experiencing difficult and family and life circumstances
- From an underrepresented school
- From a low socioeconomic status (SES) area
- To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must have been accepted to participate in the Access Monash program.
Benefits
- $8,000 per annum (48 credit points of study) up to a maximum of four years.
Number offered
- One scholarship is available.
Selection criteria
- Awarded based on need, with the low income being the primary criterion.
To retain this scholarship:
- You must maintain a minimum pass average (50 WAM or above) each semester.
How to apply
- VTAC applicants - If you think you might be eligible for an equity scholarship, ensure that you apply for the VTAC equity schemes (SEAS) to be automatically considered.
- For current Monash students, apply directly to Monash
- This scholarship cannot be deferred.
