Am I eligible?

You must be one of the following:

• An International student

You must meet the following criteria:

• be a female graduate researcher from Indonesia conducting research with impact;
• meet Monash's competitive scholarship selection process requirements;
• meet Monash University's English language proficiency requirements; and
• not have commenced your degree.

This scholarship is also available to students undertaking Joint Research Awards when Monash University is the home institution.

Benefits

Monash will provide:

• a living allowance (stipend), and
• a relocation allowance for awardees who relocate to Victoria from interstate or from overseas.

Please note that any tuition fees and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) must be paid by you, unless you are sponsored by an organisation such as the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LDPD)

Number offered

Two scholarships per year (subject to suitable applicants):

• one in the Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) disciplines.
• one in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines.

Selection criteria

Monash scholarships are highly competitive and are awarded based on academic excellence, research outputs and prior research experience.
