Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)


I relocated to Melbourne for university and needed to support myself. With this scholarship, I was able to take up a research internship instead of having to work all summer.

As an Indigenous student, the William Cooper Institute has made an incredible impact on my student experience. I had help applying for scholarships and opportunities, received academic assistance with my studies, and attended social events to meet other Indigenous students.

Am I eligible?

You must be one of the following:

  • An Australian citizen

You must meet the following criteria:

  • An Indigenous Australian
  • Commencing or continuing student enrolled or intending to enrol in the Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery at a Monash campus in Australia.
  • To be eligible you must provide a Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate or a certified Statutory Declaration form to the William Cooper Institute. This can be emailed to If you have any queries please contact the William Cooper Institute on 9902 4972.


  • $6,000 per 48 credit points per annum paid for the duration of your degree.
  • Students that live on-campus will also be eligible for on-campus accommodation costs of up to $14,000, for the duration of their degree. You must apply directly to Monash Residential Services (MRS) for on-campus accommodation.
