Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science International Merit Scholarship

I am truly honoured to receive this scholarship, which greatly alleviates the financial burden of studying abroad. As an international student, this support means the world to me and underscores the value of my hard work and dedication.

This scholarship is not just financial relief but also a profound acknowledgement of my hard work. It is also a form of encouragement and enables me to focus more on my academic as well as personal growth, knowing that my efforts are recognized and supported.

Am I eligible?

You must be one of the following:

  • An International student

An international student, for the purpose of this scholarship, must have an overseas qualification at the time of application, or be an offshore applicant with an Australian qualification who has not applied for a course through VTAC.

You must meet the following criteria:

  • Commencing international student at a Monash Campus in Australia, in one of the below courses:
    • P2001 Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science or P3002 Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science Advanced (Honours)
    • P3001 Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) or P6001* Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours)/Master of Pharmacy
    • P6005** Master of Pharmaceutical Science
    • P6006 Master of Global Medicines Development

*Students undertaking P6001 - Graduate Entry Pharmacy pathway are not eligible to be considered for this scholarship.

**Students commencing P6005 Master of Pharmaceutical Science at Entry Level 2 or Entry Level 3 are not eligible to be considered for this scholarship.

Benefits

  • 50% of tuition fees paid per year until the minimum credit points for your degree are completed (awarded to the highest achieving student in each of the four course groups nominated).
  • 25% of tuition fees paid per year until the minimum credit points for your degree are completed (awarded to the second highest achieving student in each of the four course groups nominated).

  • Eight scholarships available per year.

Selection criteria

  • Awarded to the highest-achieving students, based on academic achievement.

To retain this scholarship:

  • You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 each semester.

How to apply

  • No application is required. All eligible students who apply for a relevant course at Monash will be automatically assessed.
  • This scholarship cannot be deferred
