Prato Equity Travel Grant
Monash Travel Support Grant
The Equity Travel Scholarship to study a semester of law in Prato offers a transformative opportunity for students who may face financial barriers to international education. Designed to promote access and inclusion, the scholarship supports participation in an immersive academic program in Prato, Italy—an inspiring setting just outside Florence.
Through this program, students engage in intensive legal studies with a global focus, exploring comparative law and contemporary legal issues alongside leading academics. Small class sizes and a collaborative learning environment foster meaningful connections with peers and staff, enhancing both academic and personal growth.
The scholarship helps offset the costs of travel, accommodation, and living expenses, ensuring that students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds can fully participate. By reducing financial pressure, recipients are able to focus on making the most of this unique educational experience.
Beyond the classroom, students are immersed in Italy’s rich culture, history, and daily life. From local exploration to broader travel opportunities, the experience builds independence, confidence, and cross-cultural understanding—key skills for future legal professionals.
More than just financial support, the Equity Travel Scholarship is an investment in potential. It empowers students to broaden their perspectives, strengthen their studies, and return with the confidence and global outlook needed to thrive in an increasingly interconnected legal landscape.
