Monash Leaders Scholarship
This $6000-a-year scholarship is awarded every year to a continuing student in the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours)/Master of Pharmacy degree. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic achievement, personal circumstances, low income and leadership potential
Dr Graeme Robson generously established the scholarship to honour his father, Stan Robson, a 1931 Victorian College of Pharmacy graduate, who practised pharmacy in Hamilton, western Victoria, for 60 years.

Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen
- Australian permanent resident
- Australian humanitarian visa holder
You must meet the following criteria:
- Continuing Monash undergraduate student in their second year of study
- Enrolled or intending to enrol in the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours)/Master of Pharmacy degree in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at a Monash campus in Australia.
- Experiencing financial hardship.
- Selected to be an Access Monash Mentor

- $6000 per annum, up to a maximum of four years.

- One scholarship available per year.
Selection criteria
- Awarded based on academic achievement and need.
- In the event of there being more than one eligible candidate, preference will be given to students from one or more additional Monash University’s defined equity or personal disadvantage groups (for domestic students only)
- Indigenous Australians
- From regional and remote areas of Australia
- Living with a disability or medical condition
- Recent refugees
- Experiencing difficult family and life circumstances
- Attended an underrepresented school
To retain this scholarship:
- You must maintain full-time enrolment in the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours)/Master of Pharmacy degree in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at a Monash campus in Australia fulfil the requirements of the Access Monash Mentor role
- You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark of 60 each semester.
- You will be required to provide a one-page report for the donor at the end of the academic year, detailing your achievements over the course of the year and the impact the scholarship has had on them and participate in activities organised by the Faculty for the Robson Scholars Group.
How to apply
- You must apply to become an Access Monash Mentor.
- VTAC applicants - must also apply for the VTAC equity schemes (SEAS) to be automatically considered.
- For current Monash students, apply directly to Monash.
- This scholarship cannot be deferred.
