This scholarship is to provide financial support to academically bright Bachelor of Laws (LLB) students from disadvantaged backgrounds to enable them to reach their full potential.

Because of my scholarship, I'm able to relocate to Melbourne and pursue my dream course at Monash without financial constraints. I also received a mentor as part of this, who has given me insight into the industry to support my career planning for the future.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen
- Australian permanent resident
- Australian humanitarian visa holder
You must meet the following criteria:
- A commencing or continuing undergraduate (coursework) student, enrolled or intending to enrol full time in the Bachelor of Laws (including double degrees) in the Faculty of Law, at a Monash campus in Australia
- Consideration will be given to students from one or more of Monash University’s defined equity or personal disadvantage groups (for domestic students only)
- an Indigenous Australian
- from regional and remote areas of Australia
- experiencing financial hardship
- living with a disability or medical condition
- experiencing difficult family and life circumstances
- recent refugee
- attended an under-represented school

- Awarded on the basis of need
How to apply
- The scholarship cannot be deferred
- VTAC applicants - If you think you might be eligible for an equity scholarship, ensure that you apply for the VTAC equity schemes (SEAS) to be automatically considered.
- For current Monash students apply directly to Monash.
