Tim McArdle Memorial Scholarship
Coming from a low-income household in a rural area, there was great financial pressure on me in terms of being able to afford university. The financial support offered by a scholarship helped to ease some of this pressure in the lead up to starting university. A scholarship has allowed me to move closer to campus and set myself up to start my first semester. This extends to enabling me to gain more focus on my academics at university and acted as a form of encouragement to push myself to my full potential. For me, a scholarship has been the difference in making my dreams become my reality.
