Achieving Potential Support Scholarship
The Freemasons John Dann Music Scholarship was established to support talented students within the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music and Performance at Monash University.

As a music student, receiving a scholarship has allowed me to become a more self-sufficient musician. It's contributed to a better home setup and equipment to help me learn better. From this I've gained invaluable knowledge about content producing, which will help me towards my future job.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen
- Australian permanent resident
- Australian humanitarian visa holder
- An International student
You must meet the following criteria:
- Commencing or continuing undergraduate student enrolled or intending to enrol in an undergraduate degree in the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music in the Faculty of Arts at a Monash campus in Australia.
- Experiencing financial hardship.
Benefits
- $6000 per annum (48 credit points of study) for one year only.
Number offered
- One scholarship is available at one time.
Selection criteria
- Awarded based on need.
To retain this scholarship:
- You must maintain satisfactory academic progress as defined by the course requirements.
How to apply
- VTAC applicants - If you think you might be eligible for an equity scholarship, ensure that you apply for the VTAC equity schemes (SEAS) to be automatically considered.
- For current Monash students, apply directly to Monash.
- This scholarship cannot be deferred.
