By doing a Master of Business Analytics you’ll develop the skills to use data to better understand the world around you, opening doors to new exciting job prospects. In this degree, you will learn cutting-edge techniques, and rigorous foundations in statistical thinking, probabilistic modeling and computational techniques.

Qualifications
Depending on prior qualifications:
Entry level 1: | An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 65, or an equivalent GPA as approved by the faculty. |
Entry level 2: | An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65, or an equivalent GPA as approved by the faculty. |

Extra Requirements
Applicants must have successfully completed a first year undergraduate statistics unit, or provide evidence of qualifications/training or experience that the faculty considers to be a satisfactory substitute.
Applicants must prepare a Candidate Statement in which they are required to demonstrate that they possess the motivation and academic skills required to successfully complete the program.
If you have not completed a statistics unit in your previous study, successful completion of 'data driven decision making microcredential' will meet this requirement.
The course is structured in three parts: Part A. Advanced preparatory, Part B. Mastery knowledge and Part C. Application studies.

2022 Intake:
The Master of Business Analytics has one intake per year. The course commences in Semester 1 each year. To ensure your experience is personalised and immersive there is a limited number of places. To secure your place for 2022, accept your offer as soon as you can.
Current Monash students
You may apply to transfer from another Monash course. Transfers are a competitive process. You may apply mid-year for available courses however consideration will be given as to whether you will be able to follow your course progression.

Enrolment Obligations
International students enrolling in a CRICOS-registered course can study no more than one third (33%) of their course by distance and/or online learning. Students must enrol in at least one unit that is not by distance and/or online in each compulsory study period unless the student is completing the last unit of their course. See standard 8.19 and 8.20 of National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018.
