Global Business and Accounting - B6046

Global Business and Accounting

Master's degree/Master's degree

Organisations of all kinds call on accounting professionals to help them make informed decisions for the future. As the world of business continues to evolve and operate on an increasingly interconnected and global scale, the role of accounting and its related fields has never been so critical.

This double degree draws on skills you’re developing in your work and study to sharpen your accounting expertise – while broadening your understanding of the global business landscape. It will reshape the ways you think about accounting, research, data, financial analysis and more. It will build your critical skills across specialist fields of practice such as accounting information systems and financial accounting, forensic accounting, auditing and management accounting – while you gain the practical experience to turn insight into action.

At every step of this two-year program, you’ll also be developing your understanding of the global business landscape and key challenges that organisations face at cross-regional and cross-cultural levels. Key areas such as business strategy, diplomacy, trade law and sustainability will give you essential context, to complement your experience with financial information and data.

By the time you finish your double degree, you’ll be ready to help organisations make more informed decisions that lead to more positive outcomes, more sustainable operations, and more opportunities to grow and expand into new territories.
