Monash Leaders Scholarships are awarded to applicants that demonstrate leadership and commitment to give back to the community through the Access Monash Mentoring program.

I'm more flexible and reassured about my financial situation with a scholarship. It has also given me the opportunity to participate in the Access Monash mentoring program. Not only do I gain satisfaction from helping my student mentees, I've gained leadership and communication skills to help in my future career.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
- An Australian citizen
- A New Zealand citizen
- Australian permanent resident
- Australian humanitarian visa holder

Selection criteria
Awarded to applicants demonstrating leadership and commitment to give back to the community via the Access Monash Mentoring program.
To retain this scholarship:
- You must maintain enrolment in a Monash University undergraduate degree and fulfil the requirements of the program for which the scholarship was awarded.
How to apply
- You must apply to become an Access Monash Mentor by eligible commencing students will receive an email when they enroll. Current students should apply by 5 October.
- VTAC applicants must also submit a course and SEAS application through VTAC by (course application) 10 October 2025 (SEAS).
- This scholarship cannot be deferred.
