Align with standards
When determining course learning outcomes, it is important to recognise how they intersect with or address other University requirements.
Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards)
TEQSA ensures that all higher education providers are registered and their courses meet the Higher Education Standards Framework.
Accreditation requirements of professional bodies or governments
Courses with a professional registration requirement or endorsement need to align with the relevant accreditation bodies. Course mapping must ensure that unit learning outcomes align and provide the necessary outcomes for students and their registration requirements.
