Visual representation
This Bento Box is a three-step learning process that promotes acquisition, assimilation, and dissemination of knowledge. Students review a curated selection of resources that support a topic and identify key ideas. They will then create a one-page infographic synthesising key ideas in a visual representation. Students share their infographic with peers to reflect and review.
This learning sequence requires academics to provide a selection of resources relating to a topic. This could include printed material, videos, links to websites or podcasts and should focus on concepts or real-life scenarios. After reviewing the resources, students will design a single page infographic summarising the key points. An example has been provided, though a criteria can be created to best support the required outcome.
Students will review each other’s infographics, offering feedback and suggested areas for improvement.
