Bulk insert or override grades

The Single view tab allows you to add grades in bulk for a specific activity or a specific student. You can quickly insert specific grade values for all empty items or perform bulk overrides of grades. You can also exclude grades from contributing to the final mark. For more information, see Exclude grades.

  1. Open the navigation menu and select Grades.

  2. In the view tab, then select the Single view tab.

  3. You can select an assessment from the Select grade item drop down list.

    OR

    Select a student with the Select user drop down list.

  4. For the grade you would like to override, tick the checkbox in the override column. In the Override column header, you can select all checkboxes by clicking All or deselect all checkboxes by selecting None.
  5. You can now enter grades into the grade column and feedback in the Feedback column.
  6. When you have finished, click Save.

Bulk insert grades

  1. To perform a bulk insert of grades, at the bottom of the page, check the Perform bulk insert checkbox.
  2. In the dropdown menu, select whether you will enter a grade for All grades or Empty grades.
  3. In the Insert value box, type in the grade value.
  4. Click Save.
