Review. Respond. Reflect.

The Review. Respond. Reflect. Bento encourages students to read new materials, respond either through discussion or written response, and reflect on what they've learned. The resources provided can be in printed form and may include websites, videos and podcasts.

Students are provided with thoughtfully crafted guiding questions ahead of engaging with a selection of resources relating to the unit. The questions are designed to stimulate anticipation and critical thinking while building on classroom discussions and presentation. On completion of reading the supplied resources, students summarise their responses to the guiding questions offered. This allows students to identify areas missed that may require further research as well as identifying gaps in understanding. Students then select six keywords from a set of pre-populated options.

Students compare their chosen keywords with those selected by their peers. Students complete and share a written reflection describing connections made with these keywords.
