Why you should shift reading to an after-class activity

About this example

Dr Kylie Bradfield reversed the traditional reading sequence by having students engage with academic texts after, rather than before class. This small pedagogical shift removes some barriers to comprehension by providing necessary background knowledge and disciplinary vocabulary before students encounter these challenging texts.
